Now, the ACTUAL thing to be wary about is putting your face into it because like I give it a 90% chance that faces put into this are used to train facial recognition software so like THAT you should definitely avoid.
Also avoid, if you have any thoughts of mischief, trying to get them copyright flagged. If anything happens, YOU'RE footing that bill. (Again, pulled from the website itself, translated in Linguee)
Finally, there's something to be said about giving AI Art your time and how harmful AI Art is to artists but that's a different post for a different time.

okay i wanna add onto this because i think people are still not understanding how this works
when AI creators want to actually train an AI on recognizing certain things like, say, faces, they need some way to actually get feedback. for example, when you get those captchas that have you identify stairs/buses/roadsigns/etc YOU are doing work by selecting the squares containing them, helping to train the AI
this is straight up not happening when you just upload an image of your face, or like, some image of squart guy you have saved in a reaction folder, to some anime-ifier
if all it took to “train facial recognition” was mass input of images that may or may not contain faces in vary proportion and varying location in the image with no human feedback and correction, you could just trawl any image dump site and get more samples than you could ever get from some self submitted thing like this
im not gonna get into the ~inherent evils of AI Art~ thing cuz i just straight up dont agree but thats besides the point of this
my main concern with people using their selfies or whatever isnt giving an AI an image of ur face cuz like, im gonna be real, that Does Not Matter In This Instance At All, im more worried about people sharing that before image online with people they dont know, but even then thats their business and their choice
